This webinar explores the importance of 3D data management and the difference between storage, archiving and publication. It covers the datasets produced in 3D digitisation projects, the importance of standards and good quality documentation for archiving and re-use of 3D heritage. The webinar also introduces hosting platforms available for sharing 3D models, the metadata and licences that are needed to enable re-use in projects, and some examples of projects for education, tourism, to provide access for people with disabilities.
