The 3D-4CH Platform has been developed within the framework of the Digital Europe Programme of the European Union. It is co-funded by the EU and implemented by Arctur d.o.o.. We are committed to protecting your personal data and ensuring transparency about how it is collected, processed, and used. All processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) and applicable national legislation.

 

Data Controller & Processor

Data Controller: Arctur d.o.o. (responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing personal data).

Data Processor: Arctur d.o.o. (Nova Gorica, Slovenia), an 3D-4CH project partner responsible for platform development, ensuring secure processing and storage. Arctur is certified under ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for information security management.

 

What Data We Collect

When you register on the platform, we may collect:

  • Identification and contact details (name, email, organisation, country).
  • Profile information related to your role (student, trainer, employer, guidance provider, etc.).
  • Optional subscription preferences (e.g., newsletters, job alerts).

Browsing the platform is possible without registration; data collection only applies when you choose to register or interact (e.g., submit reflections, contribute resources, comment).

 

Cookies

The platform uses essential cookies to ensure secure login and proper functioning. Optional cookies (e.g., for analytics) may be used to improve user experience, but only with your consent. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

 

Why We Process Your Data

Your personal data will be used exclusively for:

  • Managing your platform account and enabling participation.
  • Allowing interaction with content (reflections, comments, contributions).
  • Sending optional updates and alerts if you subscribed to them.
  • Ensuring secure and moderated collaboration between users.

 

Data Retention

In line with European Commission requirements, personal data collected through the 3D-4CH Platform will be retained for at least five (5) years after the official end of the project.

As the platform is designed for long-term sustainability, our goal is to maintain and exploit the platform beyond the project lifetime. In such a case, personal data will be retained for as long as the platform remains active and users maintain their accounts.

If the platform is discontinued, or if a user requests deletion, personal data will be securely erased or anonymized, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

In line with GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
